The “ber” months (September, October, November and December) are a wonderful time for youth. So much happens as we prepare for age groups to progress in the new year:

  • Bishopric members issue temple recommends to worthy youth turning 12 in 2023 and renew recommends for other worthy youth as needed.

  • Bishops meet with young men for potential advancement in the priesthood.

  • Young Women leaders and class presidencies review the organization of Young Women classes and counsel together about needed adjustments for the coming year.

  • New class and quorum presidencies are called and set apart to lead their classes in the coming year. Don’t forget the orientation guide and the five leadership lessons in the Gospel Library (see “Helps for Presidencies” in the Youth audience collection).
