Church Celebrates Milestone in Slovenia

March marks the 20-year anniversary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Slovenia.

TV Slovenia aired a story this month highlighting the Church's two-decade-long presence in the south central European country on its program Duhovni utrip (Spiritual beat).

A book published by Slovenian members that notes important events in Church history is featured with interviews from local leaders and missionaries.

On 1 March 1991 the Church gained recognition with the Slovenian government. The first member of the Church was baptized that same month. Currently there are four congregations and one mission in Slovenia.
