Chart includes 16 new General Authority Seventies sustained in April 2025 general conference

Changes to the leadership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced in the April 2025 general conference are reflected in an updated chart of General Authorities and General Officers, courtesy of the Church News, available to view or download in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

During the Saturday morning session of the Church’s April 2025 general conference, President Dallin H. Oaks, First Counselor in the First Presidency, presented the calls of 16 new General Authority Seventies, who are reflected in the chart.

An updated chart will also publish in the May edition of the “Liahona” magazine. Biographies of all general leaders can be found here.

Changes in Effect August 1

President Oaks also announced changes to the Presidency of the Seventy and a new Young Men General Presidency, effective August 1 (and not reflected in the chart).

Elder Kevin R. Duncan, a General Authority Seventy, was called to serve in the Presidency of the Seventy, and Elder José A. Teixeira, also of the Seventy, will be released from the presidency, where he has served since 2018, on August 1.

President Timothy L. Farnes was sustained as the new Young Men General President and with his counselors, Brother David J. Wunderli and Brother Sean R. Dixon. Their service begins August 1.

During the leadership session on Thursday, April 3, 78 Area Seventies were sustained, and another 57 Area Seventies will be released on or before August 1.

Five General Authority Seventies will receive emeritus status effective August 1: Elder David S. Baxter, Elder Randall K. Bennett, Elder Kevin S. Hamilton, Elder Rafael E. Pino and Elder Jorge F. Zeballos.
