Elder Weatherford T. Clayton 

Elder Weatherford T. Clayton was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 2, 2016. At the time of his call, he was serving as president of the Canada Toronto Mission. He is currently serving at Church headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah, as an Assistant Executive Director in the Missionary Department. He is also serving as the chairman of Missionary Health Services.

Elder Clayton received a bachelor's degree in psychology and a medical degree from the University of Utah. He had his own medical practice in Southern California until 2013.

Elder Clayton has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the French Canadian Mission, bishop, ward mission leader, stake president, and mission president.

William Weatherford Touchstone Clayton was born in Los Angeles, California, on March 1, 1952. He married his sweetheart, Lisa Thomas, in 1976. They have five children.
