The revised edition of the illustrated “Doctrine and Covenants Stories” from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is now available in print.
Beginning August 27, 2025, the print version in English will be available to purchase for $5.25 at Distribution centers or online at Store.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, and additional languages will be available later this year.
Released online beginning in December 2024, the updated “Doctrine and Covenants Stories” comes 40 years after the original edition.
Text and images are available digitally in the Gospel Library in 68 languages, and the videos are in 26 languages. The videos are also on the Gospel for Kids YouTube channel in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.

He said he is excited to see some less-familiar stories from Church history included in “Doctrine and Covenants Stories.” “The publication of the four volumes of Saints has introduced us to some awe-inspiring experiences of Latter-day Saints who are part of ‘Doctrine and Covenants Stories,’” he said. “We get to know people like Mary Rollins, Elijah Able, Jane Manning, Susa Gates and Helvecio Martins — people who persevered through difficult trials because of their faith in Jesus Christ and His restored gospel.”
“Doctrine and Covenants Stories” can be used to enhance gospel study and learn about Church history at home and at church, especially since Latter-day Saints are studying the Doctrine and Covenants at home and church as part of the 2025 “Come, Follow Me” curriculum for individuals and families.
The colorful illustrations and clear, straightforward language in “Doctrine and Covenants Stories” teach scripture stories to children in engaging ways and are an effective tool for enhancing “Come, Follow Me” discussions each week and explaining stories from Church history.
