The 2026 “Old Testament Seminary Teacher Manual” simplifies lesson preparation and promotes Christ-centered learning through Old Testament study. 2025 by Intellectual Reserve, Inc. All rights reserved.Updated and new resources to help seminary teachers prepare to teach with confidence next year are now available. These aids come during a time of remarkable growth and excitement in Seminaries and Institutes of Religion, supporting an expanding group of dedicated instructors who are helping youth deepen their faith in Jesus Christ.
The 2026 Old Testament Seminary Teacher Manual can be found on ChurchofJesusChrist.org and in the Gospel Library in the Seminary section of Books and Lessons. It simplifies lesson preparation, promotes Christ-centered learning through Old Testament study and is designed to help teachers begin teaching immediately with no requirement of prior training.

New teachers will receive ongoing support and training in lesson preparation and improving teaching skills from area and local Seminaries and Institutes of Religion leaders.
To further support teachers, the Church has provided the new S&I Help Center, featuring a searchable knowledge base and a community forum for finding answers, sharing experiences and connecting with others. The help center provides easier access to information about tools, apps and teaching resources and is available in English with French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Traditional Chinese and Tagalog coming in February 2026.
