Reservations Begin for Provo City Center Temple Open House

Reservations for the Provo City Center Temple public open house that begins on Friday, January 15, 2016, are now available. The public can obtain complimentary tickets online at tickets.lds.org or by calling 855-537-2000. (See update on ticket availability.)

The dates for the open house are January 15–March 5. Tours of the temple in Provo, Utah, will run every day except for the Sundays of January 17, 24 and 31 and February 7, 14, 21 and 28.

Church President Thomas S. Monson announced the fire-damaged Provo Tabernacle would be converted into Provo’s second temple in October 2011. Ground was broken to begin construction May 12, 2012.

A cultural celebration will take place on Saturday, March 19, prior to the dedication.

The temple will be dedicated in three sessions on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The dedication will be broadcast to Utah meetinghouses, and the three-hour block of meetings will be cancelled for that Sunday.

The temple is located on University Avenue between Center Street and 100 South in Provo.

Update (January 11, 2016)

Additional reservations will be available on Monday, January 11, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. Unconfirmed reservations will be released on January 14, 2016.
