The Gila Valley Arizona Temple

Plans to construct the temple were announced 26 April 2008, Church leaders broke ground 14 February 2009, and Thomas S. Monson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, dedicated The Gila Valley Arizona Temple 23 May 2010. The temple serves Latter-day Saints in southeast Arizona and southwest New Mexico.

The 18,561-square-foot temple’s exterior is architectural precast concrete.

Currently, there are more than 20 temples in various stages of construction or have been announced throughout the world.
