2021 Temple and Family History Leadership Instruction

Elder David A. Bednar, Elder Gary E. Stevenson and Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host a training to instruct ward and stake leaders, youth quorum and class presidencies, and members with missionary or temple and family history callings and responsibilities. On-demand viewing will be available starting February 25, 2021.

The theme will be “Hear Him Through Temple and Family History Work,” with a focus on this promise from President Russell M. Nelson: “I promise that as you increase your time in temple and family history work, you will increase and improve your ability to hear Him” (“Hear Him,” Apr. 2020 General Conference).

Who Should Participate

Stake and ward councils, bishoprics and branch presidencies, elders quorum and Relief Society presidencies, Young Women and Primary presidencies, ward mission leaders and missionaries, ward temple and family history leaders and consultants, and Young Women class and Aaronic Priesthood presidencies are invited to participate.

On-demand viewing will be available starting Thursday, February 25, 2021, by going to ChurchofJesusChrist.org/family-history or to the Church broadcast page. Languages will include English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Swedish. A recording of the training will be available in the Gospel Library soon after the event.
