In 2024, Latter-day Saints of all ages will study the Book of Mormon from a single manual: “Come, Follow Me—For Home and Church.”
Instead of separate manuals for Primary, Sunday School, Young Women classes and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will have one resource. Wards and branches will receive copies of this resource as outlined in “Instructions for Curriculum 2024,” sent to ward and stake leaders July 13.
Members may also order copies for themselves at store.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. Where possible, members are encouraged to access “Come, Follow Me” digitally at ComeFollowMe.ChurchofJesusChrist.org and in the Gospel Library app.
The First Presidency notified local leaders to expect changes to the 2024 version of “Come, Follow Me,” in a letter dated Friday, April 28. The move is part of “an effort to strengthen and simplify home-centered, Church-supported gospel learning,” the letter stated.
“Come, Follow Me,” is a Church resource intended to “strengthen families and individuals through a home-centered and Church-supported plan to learn doctrine, strengthen faith and foster greater personal worship.”
President Russell M. Nelson announced the “Come, Follow Me” program in October 2018 general conference, calling it “a new balance and connection between gospel instruction in the home and in the Church.”
Home, Primary, Sunday School and Youth
The new, consolidated “Come, Follow Me—For Home and Church” supports gospel learning and scripture study for individuals and families at home. It also serves as the curriculum for Primary, Sunday School, and Young Women classes and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings.
The consolidated study manual replaces:
- “Come, Follow Me—For Individuals and Families”
- “Come, Follow Me—For Sunday School”
- “Come, Follow Me—For Primary”
- “Come, Follow Me—For Aaronic Priesthood Quorums and Young Women Classes”
Relief Society and Elders Quorum
Relief Society and elders quorum meetings focus on topics in one or more talks from the most recently available general conference. See “Teaching, Learning, and Applying Messages from General Conference” (print version available in conference issues of the “Liahona”) for more information.
Church Provided Resources at No Cost
For 2024, the Church will send wards and branches one copy of “Come, Follow Me—For Home and Church” for each participating (attending) household at no cost to the unit. They will also receive a few additional copies to give to non-attending members.
Young Single Adult wards will receive a total of 10 copies of “Come, Follow Me—For Home and Church”, not one per individual. Ward councils should prayerfully determine who should receive these additional copies. They can be distributed by ministering brothers and sisters, ward leaders, and missionaries, with an invitation to study the Book of Mormon in 2024. The involvement of missionaries should be planned in the missionary coordination meeting.
Materials Wards and Branches May Need to Purchase
In December 2023, leaders may choose to order additional copies of “Come, Follow Me—For Home and Church” for called teachers or non-attending members. Members may also order copies for themselves at store.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. Where possible, members should be encouraged to use “Come, Follow Me” digitally.

How Wards and Branches Can Order
Instructions for Annual Curriculum Order and Children and Youth Orders may be found in the Instructions for Curriculum 2024 letter distributed to ward and stake councils on July 13, 2023.
If units need additional copies of “Come, Follow Me” for teachers or to share with non-attending members, they need to order them beginning in December 2023.
All other materials must be ordered no later than September 2023 for delivery by January 1, 2024.
Units should consider the following questions to avoid ordering more materials than needed:
- How many of each item does your unit already have available?
- How many people use digital versions of materials rather than printed copies?
To order print materials, units should visit store.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, select Units and Callings, and then select Annual Curriculum. To order Children and Youth materials, units should visit store.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, select Units and Callings, and then select Children and Youth.
