Behind the Scenes at the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert

It takes a cast and crew of hundreds to put together the annual Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert. This year it was no exception as the choir welcomed guest artists Broadway star Santino Fontana and the “Sesame Street” Muppets™ for several evening performances and a Sunday morning mini-concert at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City from December 11 to 14, 2014.

Take a behind-the-scenes look as the world-renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square work with the guest artists to prepare for the concerts.

This year’s family-oriented show brought thousands of audience members as young as five years old to the performances to see the choir, orchestra and Fontana — as well as Elmo, Count von Count, Abby Cadabby, Rosita, Bert and Ernie, Grover, Big Bird and Cookie Monster — in person.
