President Packer dedicated the temple 23 September 2012.
The exterior of the 36,000-square-foot temple is precast concrete with art-glass peach blossoms on the second floor windows, and the landscape includes 26 fruit trees.
Currently, there are over 50 temples in various stages of construction, renovation or have been announced throughout the world.
