Bruce C. Kusch

Bruce C. Kusch will become the 13th president of LDS Business College on April 17, 2017. Prior to his appointment, he served as the chief academic officer for LDS Business College, a position with accountability for the academic function of the college, including library services.

Previously, Kusch worked at BYU–Idaho as the associate academic vice president for curriculum and as associate dean in the Online Programs Office. He also served as a member of the business management faculty.

In addition to his academic experience, Kusch has worked in high-tech and strategic management positions in the United States, Asia and Mexico. There, he gained valuable industry experience to help guide the college’s focus on skills-based educational programs. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration and a doctorate in instructional design from Idaho State University. Kusch also served on the board of directors for a successful software startup, seeing it through a successful acquisition. He also served on the board of trustees for Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho.

Kusch and his wife, Alynda, are the parents of four children and have 20 grandchildren. They are both natives of Southern California.
