SAFFORD, Arizona — Kacey McCallister lost both his legs when he was 6 years old. He was struck by a tractor-trailer, and his legs were caught in the wheels.

This week, The Arizona Daily Star featured Elder McCallister, who is now serving as a full-time missionary in the Arizona Tucson Mission.

Currently, there are 52,000 missionaries of the Church serving throughout the world, with approximately 180 serving in the southern portions of Arizona and New Mexico.
