    Plans to construct the temple were announced April 18, 2006, Church leaders broke ground November 14, 2007, and Thomas S. Monson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, dedicated the Cebu City Philippines Temple June 13, 2010. The temple serves Latter-day Saints in Visayas and Mindanao.
