Church Helps Families and Rescuers at Crandall Canyon Mine

Two experienced LDS Family Services mental health counselors, one bilingual in Spanish, are on-site at the Huntington mine collapse today providing assistance to the trapped miners’ families. Three of the families are from Mexico. Additional Church counselors stand ready to help.

The Church is providing food and meals for many of those involved in the rescue efforts. Several Church members are working as volunteers in a variety of capacities, and local leaders are providing assistance to the miners' families where needed.
