Denver Colorado Temple

Plans to construct the temple were announced 31 March 1982, Church leaders broke ground 19 May 1984, and Ezra Taft Benson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1985 to 1994, dedicated the Denver Colorado Temple 24 October 1986. The temple serves Latter-day Saints in Colorado, eastern Wyoming and western Kansas.

The exterior of the 27,006-square-foot temple is pre-cast stone walls and built-up roof.

Currently, there are more than 20 temples in various stages of construction or have been announced throughout the world.
