Funeral services for Elder Neal A. Maxwell of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will be held in the Tabernacle on Temple Square on Tuesday, 27 July 2004, at 12:00 noon. The funeral will be open to the public.
Tabernacle doors will open at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to attend should be in their seats by 11:30 a.m. Overflow seating will be available in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square and in the chapel of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
A private burial service will take place in the Salt Lake City Cemetery following the funeral.
Tape-delayed TV broadcasts of the funeral service will be available on KBYU-TV, channel 11, at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 27 July 2004 and at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, 1 August; on BYU-TV at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 27 July 2004, and at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, 1 August 2004; and on KSL-TV, channel 5, at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, 1 August 2004.
Radio broadcasts will be available on BYU Radio at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 27 July, and at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, 1 August; and on KBYU-FM at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, 1 August.
There will be no public viewing, but expressions of sympathy can be e-mailed to condolences@ldschurch.org or mailed to Church headquarters at 47 East South Temple St., Salt Lake City, UT 84150.
