Funeral Arrangements for Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Funeral services for Marjorie Pay Hinckley, wife of President Gordon B. Hinckley, will be held in the Tabernacle on Temple Square on Saturday, 10 April 2004 at 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be open to the public.

Tabernacle doors will open at 9:30 a.m. Those wishing to attend should be in their seats by 10:30. Overflow locations will be available in the Assembly Hall and North Visitors Center on Temple Square as well as in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.

The funeral will also be broadcast on BYU-TV and on the Church satellite system to meetinghouses around the world. This broadcast will be available only in English.

Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery following the service.

A public viewing will be held Friday, 9 April 2004, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the reception room on the main floor of the Relief Society Building, 76 North Main St.

In lieu of flowers, the Hinckley family has requested that donations be made to the Perpetual Education Fund or to the Marjorie Pay Hinckley Chair in Social Work and Social Sciences at Brigham Young University.
