These symbols can be particularly helpful for members who use images to communicate, but they can benefit any member who prefers to use a visual image to represent words and phrases related to the Savior’s Church and His gospel.2022 by Intellectual Reserve, Inc. These symbols (more of which are being added quarterly) are especially useful for those who are non-speakers. They can also benefit any Latter-day Saint who wants to use a visual image to represent a word or phrase connected to Jesus and His teachings.

Gospel Language Symbols are found in the Gospel Library app and online in the Life Help section of the Church website.

The Church of Jesus Christ offers other resources to help people with disabilities. For example, the video series “Teaching Strategies for Children with Disabilities” helps parents and teachers apply effective teaching techniques.
