Among them is a family of four (a mother and her three children), who, as KUTV in Salt Lake City reports, received their mission calls on the same day. The mother will serve at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, Hawaii; her sons will serve in Vancouver, Canada, and Mexico City, Mexico; and her daughter will serve at the Mormon Battalion Visitors’ Center in San Diego, California. The entire family will report to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, in August.

As the Church reported last week, over 64,000 missionaries are currently serving. Since 1 January 2013, an average of 1,400 missionaries have been called each week — 57 percent are elders, 36 percent are sisters and seven percent are seniors.
