Pacific: Fresh Coat of Paint on Methodist Church Brings Community Closer Together
A young member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who lives in the Fijian village of Kuku noticed the neighborhood Methodist church building needed a paint job. Alipate Ravatunawa Vosaki also wanted an activity that promoted an interfaith relationship.

Both of his goals were completed successfully. People were assigned to different crews at different times and everyone had the opportunity to serve. Within a week they had successfully scraped off the old paint and applied a beautiful new finish to the Methodist house of worship.
