The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square teamed up with the Osmond family on Friday and Saturday in the Conference Center in downtown Salt Lake City to celebrate the anniversary of the first arrival of Mormon pioneers into the Salt Lake Valley 161 years ago.
The resulting musical extravaganza was broadcast to millions of homes around the world through local networks and BYU Television.
The Salt Lake Tribune was among several local media outlets that reviewed the Pioneer Day concerts.
