Mormon Tom Green

Misstatement:

"Mormon Tom Green"

Fact:

Tom Green is not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; he is not a Mormon. As one reporter stated, "Green is not a Mormon, and it's more than inaccurate, it's irresponsible to call him one. It is sort of like calling Martin Luther a Catholic because he was a priest for a time."

You cannot practice polygamy and be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Misstatement:

"Accusations that the Mormon Church used its political influence to silence Tom Green."

Fact:

There is no truth to this rumor, nor any evidence whatsoever to any involvement by the Church in the prosecution of Mr. Green.
