A Mormon's View on Love

Christ Rich young man
Christ’s eternal love is the motivating force in Mormon life. As The Book of Mormon teaches, possessing the “pure love of Christ” is “the greatest of all” the attributes one can develop in this life (see Moroni 7:46–47).

In a Valentine’s Day commentary on the Washington Post’s “On Faith” forum, Kathryn Skaggs, a Mormon in California, shares similar thoughts, noting that an eternal view of love is the “lens through which Mormons view their most personal relationships.”
