Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple

Plans to construct the temple were announced October 3, 1992, Church leaders broke ground October 9, 1993, and Gordon B. Hinckley, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1995 to 2008, dedicated the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple October 13, 1996. The temple serves Latter-day Saints in northern Utah County and Wasatch County.
The 104,000-square-foot temple’s exterior is Sierra white granite, with art glass windows and bronze doors.
Currently, there are 30 temples in various stages of construction or have been announced throughout the world.
