Features for Leaders
Record and Update Callings
Stake and ward leaders can now record and update members’ callings directly in the Member Tools app. (See left image in the figure below.) Previously, these changes had to be made through Leader and Clerk Resources on the Church website. Now, leaders can manage callings on the spot, enabling members to access tools and resources for their new calling up to 24 hours later.
To access this feature, navigate from the member’s profile to the “Callings and Classes” section and select “Edit.”
View Family in Member’s Profile
Members’ profiles now include a “Family” section where leaders can view a comprehensive list of a member’s spouse and children, including those who are deceased or who reside in a different unit. (See right image in the figure below.) This information is visible to the bishopric, stake presidency and primary household contacts.
To access the family section, select “Family” in the member’s profile.

View and Record Government Certifications
A new “Compliance and Training” section in member profiles enables bishoprics, stake presidencies and clerks to view and record government certifications for individuals working with children or youth.
In locations where these certifications are mandatory, this feature streamlines the process of identifying eligible substitute teachers, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and enhancing safety of children and youth programs.
To access this feature, navigate from the member’s profile to “Compliance and Training.”

Features for Everyone
Choose a Unit When Introducing a Friend to the Missionaries
When using the “Introduce Friends to the Missionaries” feature within the app, members can now select a specific ward or branch when submitting the form. (See left image in figure below.)
This feature provides a smoother experience for members of the church and their friends who are interested in learning from missionaries by helping them get connected with a unit that fits their language preferences, marital status, and location. Before submitting the form, the member must confirm that the friend is aware they’re being connected with the missionaries.
Link to Online Donations Site
A new “Online Donations” tile gives members direct access to the Online Donations webpage. From there, they can make contributions and view their donation history. While donation forms remain external to the app, this new tile simplifies access to the online donation experience. (See right image in the figure below.)

Create and View Public Events to Share
With “Activity Sharing,” members can navigate directly to their ward page to create, view and share public events with friends. Events posted on ward pages are optimized for sharing and may also appear on platforms like Eventbrite, helping more people discover public events hosted by local wards and branches.
Features Coming Soon
This update will shortly be followed by additional updates to how youth presidencies view members of their class in the app, along with an updated design for iOS users that incorporates Apple’s Liquid Glass elements.
