The creation of a Mormon Newsroom website for Taiwan marks the 80th Newsroom website for MormonNewsroom.org.
In addition to the Church’s worldwide MormonNewsroom.org, the official news resource for news media, opinion leaders and the public, there are 79 other sites around the world managed in-country with primarily local content.
With more than 15.6 million members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints around the world, the Mormon Newsroom international websites provide information specific for Church members and public audiences in each country and cover a total of 29 languages, including Ukrainian, Italian, Portuguese and French.
Content varies from highlighting service projects and participation in community discourse to sharing Church members’ stories.
Additionally, MormonNewsroom.org features a series, “Mormons Around the World,” to share what leaders and members are doing in various countries.
