SALT LAKE CITY —; The Orchestra at Temple Square will present its annual spring concert on Saturday, 20 April, at 7:30 p.m. in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. The program will feature a performance of Brahms' Symphony No. 1. Barlow Bradford, music director for the Orchestra at Temple Square, will conduct.
The concert will also feature Enoch Train, a Utah-based folk artist group. The eight-member group has mastered a combined total of 90 different instruments and performs what it terms "American folk music with a passport." The Orchestra will accompany Enoch Train as the group performs renditions of folk tunes that have become music for Latter-day Saint hymns.
Free tickets are required and will be available to the public beginning Tuesday, 2 April, at the Conference Center ticket office (door 4) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and on the Internet (www.lds.org/events). After reserved seat tickets are distributed, several hundred standby tickets will be available. The majority of the standby ticket holders are generally admitted to Tabernacle concerts. The Assembly Hall will also be made available for any additional patrons to enjoy the concert via large-screen television.
