Via Settebagni 376
Rome, Italy

Plans to construct the temple were announced 4 October 2008. Thomas S. Monson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, broke ground 23 October 2010.

This will be the first temple in Italy. The Religious and Cultural Center of the Church, the first of its kind in Italy, will include a temple, multifunctional meetinghouse (including a cultural hall and facilities for conferencing), visitors’ center, family history center and patron housing, all surrounded by lovely gardens.

The temple will serve Latter-day Saints in Italy.
