Snowflake Arizona Temple

Plans to construct the temple were announced 2 April 2000, Church leaders broke ground 23 September 2000, and Gordon B. Hinckley, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1995 to 2008, dedicated the Snowflake Arizona Temple 3 March 2002. The temple serves Latter-day Saints in northeastern Arizona and western New Mexico.

The 16,567-square-foot temple’s exterior is two tones of imported polished granite.

Currently, there are more than 20 temples in various stages of construction or have been announced throughout the world.
