Adassa is a bilingual Afro-Latina voice actress and a Golden Globe, Oscar and Grammy winner. She is perhaps most well-known for singing in “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” She is a wife and mother of seven and sang at RootsTech 2023.

Melecio was a finalist on the 2012 version of “Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento,” a reality competition show searching for Latino talent. With the support of his wife and five children, the Mexico native signed with Rumor Records and released a debut album in 2015.

Both artists performed with the Choir during its recent visit to Mexico.

The 2023 summer concerts celebrated the power of music to unite people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. The musical repertoire encompassed a wide range of musical genres and styles. From classical masterpieces to contemporary pieces, the performance should resonate with audiences of all ages and backgrounds. The diverse selection of music serves as a testament to the Choir’s commitment to inclusivity and the universal language of music.

Choir Music Director Mack Wilberg and Assistant Music Director Ryan Murphy conducted the concerts.
