Kathleen F. Kelly and Diane Wunderli have been called to the Primary General Advisory Council of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. All rights reserved.Two women have been called to the Primary General Advisory Council of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: Sister Kathleen F. Kelly and Sister Diane Wunderli.
They will assist the Primary General Presidency as they counsel with other general and local Church leaders to teach, serve and watch over the children of the Church. Both began serving in April 2024.
The women join nine existing council members, pictured below in 2022 with the Primary General Presidency: Primary General President Susan H. Porter; Sister Amy A. Wright, First Counselor; and Sister Tracy Y. Browning, Second Counselor.

Kelly, 68, began serving as a member of the Primary General Advisory Council in April 2024. She has served as docent at the Church History Museum, stake and ward Young Women president, Primary counselor and chorister, ward Relief Society president and teacher, and temple ordinance worker. She currently serves on the Member Music Experiences Committee and as the ward choir accompanist. She and her husband, Thomas, served as mission leaders of the Italy Rome Mission from 2010 to 2013.
Sister Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Brigham Young University.
She was born in March 1956 to Grant and Alta Fisher. She and her husband have 5 children and 16 grandchildren. She lives in the Cottonwood 13th Ward, Cottonwood Utah Stake.

All rights reserved.Diane Wunderli, 59, began serving as a member of the Primary General Advisory Council in April 2024. She and her husband, David, served as mission leaders in the Cape Verde Praia Mission from 2020 to 2023, and as branch missionaries at the Provo MTC. She has also served as stake Relief Society president, ward Primary president, ward Young Women president, counselor in ward Primary, Young Women and Relief Society presidencies, YSA Institute instructor and temple ordinance worker.
Sister Wunderli studied health sciences at the University of Utah and worked as an accounting manager and dental assistant. She has also actively volunteered with various school, community and humanitarian organizations.
She was born in Mesa, Arizona, to Morris J. Robins and Jerri Johnson Frehner. She is married to David J. Wunderli and they have four children and nine grandchildren. She lives in the Alpine 2nd Ward, Alpine Utah North Stake.
