The Newsroom Blog

Upgrades to the Newsroom Site

Today MormonNewsroom.org (previously Newsroom.lds.org), the Church's official website for news media, opinion leaders and the public, has an updated front page. The changes enhance the fourth iteration of Newsroom released in late 2010. The new design is intended to improve the user experience by more prominently highlighting background, commentary and topics on the front page in addition to recent news stories.

Other updates include:

•    Improved browser integration
•    Enhanced news release layout (easily find additional resources and social media sharing links)
•    Detailed country statistics
•    Improved search for quicker, more reliable content discovery

Additionally, Newsroom recently moved to a new domain, MormonNewsroom.org . The domain is intended to help the news media and the public less familiar with the Church clearly understand that the Newsroom is the official source for "Mormon" information from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

You can share your thoughts through the site's feedback system or e-mail them directly to mediahelp@ldschurch.org .
