The broadcast of “Witnesses of Christ,” a 50-minute tribute to the birth of Jesus Christ, on Sunday, November 28, kicked off this year’s Christmas on Temple Square.
The musical presentation, hosted by author David Butler, includes new arrangements of carols performed by the Truman Brothers, the Utah State University Chamber Singers, Daniel Beck, the Rise Up Children’s Choir and others. Each song, video and spoken message stems from the question: “What would it have been like to have been there, to witness the Savior’s birth and the events leading up to it more than 2,000 years ago?”
“Witnesses of Christ” is available for on-demand viewing throughout the Christmas season in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, American Sign Language, and Descriptive Audio on broadcast.ChurchofJesusChrist.org; on YouTube ; and on the Temple Square Facebook page in English.
