The latest edition of The World Report, a semiannual report of news events around the world pertaining to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is now available on YouTube:

President Thomas S. Monson Introduces Temples: "Worldwide 83% of our members live within 200 miles of a temple," said President Thomas S. Monson during the October 2009 semiannual general conference. Temples announced or under construction include the Brigham City Utah Temple, Payson Utah Temple, Fort Lauderdale Florida Temple and Sapporo Japan Temple. 2010 brings the dedication of the Vancouver British Columbia Temple.

Haiti Relief: Following devastating earthquakes in the Western Hemisphere, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sends aid and volunteers to help and heal in Haiti.

Chile Earthquake Response: Immediately following a massive 8.8 earthquake in Chile, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints began making plans for a sustained effort to help the Chilean people.

Tsunami Recovery in Samoa: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints responded to the needs of another tragedy in Samoa.

Brazil Helping Hands Ten Year Anniversary: On 12 October 2009, thousands of Latter-day Saint volunteers and friends of the Church gathered along the Copacabana Beach to help pick up and clean up.

Mormon Battalion Visitors' Center: On 30 January 2010, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the community of Old Town San Diego held a celebration for the grand opening of the newly remodeled visitors' center.

Cardinal George Speaks at BYU: His Eminence Francis Cardinal George addressed religious freedom in a speech at Brigham Young University.

Elder Dallin H. Oaks Speaks at Harvard: Elder Dallin H. Oaks, member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, spoke to students and faculty at Harvard University about the nature of God, the purpose of life and the search for truth.

Ogden Utah Temple Announcement: The Ogden Utah Temple, the fifth built in the state of Utah, will undergo a renovation.

Choir Christmas Concert with Natalie Cole: The 2009 Christmas season brought guest musical artist Natalie Cole and author David McCullough to Salt Lake City to join the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square in the annual Christmas concert titled The Wondrous Gift of Christmas.

Book of Mormon Anniversary: March of 2010 marks the 180th anniversary of the publication of the Book of Mormon.

Joseph Smith Papers: The second volume of The Joseph Smith Papers, called Revelations and Translations: Manuscript Revelation Books, was released in September of 2009.

Andrea Bocelli Sings with Mormon Tabernacle Choir: World renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli sings with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square.

Kiev Ukraine Temple Statue Placement: Hundreds gathered to watch as the statue of the angel Moroni was placed atop the spire of the Kiev Ukraine Temple.

Elder M. Russell Ballard Visits the Dominican Republic: Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles was in the Dominican Republic in 1978 when missionary work formally began. He returned to the Caribbean nation in November 2009 to visit with local members and leaders and to reflect on the Church's progress there.
