CNN Video Shows Mormon Temple in Sacred Spaces

A recent video offering from CNN covers the recently completed Vancouver British Columbia Temple, the 131st of its kind around the world.

The video features an interview with Elder William R. Walker of the Seventy, who serves as the executive director of the Church's Temple Department.

Temples, for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, are different than traditional meetinghouses. They are considered houses of the Lord set aside for solemn prayer and making commitments to God and as the place where couples and families are united for eternity.

For this series, CNN's Belief Blog is taking a look inside sacred spaces from different faiths.
