The Newsroom Blog Features Teenager's iReport of Relief Efforts for Haiti featured 14-year-old Ryan Samuels' iReport from a Church gymnasium in North Miami Beach, Florida, about a relief project for victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

According to the story, "Samuels has taken a special interest in this project since he has a lot of Haitian friends, and his father lived in Haiti for two years and speaks fluent Creole. Samuels' father, who is the vice mayor of the city of Miramar, has strong ties to the Haitian community in South Florida."
