The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will stream the 2021 Church Music Festival on Friday, September 17, at 6 p.m. mountain standard time, on www.ChurchofJesusChrist.org/broadcasts.

The Church Music Festival is an annual concert that highlights original Church music and lyrics submitted by members throughout the world through the annual Church Music Submission. The Church Music Submission encourages the development of musical talent and brings new musical works to light by inviting Latter-day Saints to submit original musical works for consideration.

The 90-minute concert on September 17, recorded in the Tabernacle on Temple Square, features original award-winning works from the 2019 and 2020 Church Music Submissions, including anthems, youth music, and hymn arrangements for choir, instrumentalists and vocal soloists. The composers and lyricists featured are Latter-day Saints from all over the world.

A recording of the festival will be archived Gospel Media Library for on-demand viewing. Additionally, sheet music from this concert will be made available to download for free at ChurchofJesusChrist.org/music/library/submitted-music-2012-present.
