The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches that He lives and that God loves, hears, and speaks to His children. His personalized guidance and inspiration may be experienced through the counsel of living prophets and apostles from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
All are welcome and invited to hear messages about the hope, peace, and eternal life made possible because of Jesus Christ during the annual broadcast of general conference on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, 2024.
General conference provides an opportunity to receive personal revelation as general Church leaders give counsel and direction. “We encourage members to listen to, study, ponder and apply the counsel and direction given,” stated the First Presidency of the Church (letter to congregation leaders, March 7, 2024).
The next global broadcast, which originates every six months from the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, will consist of five unique 2-hour sessions over two days:
Saturday, April 6
General sessions at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 6 p.m.*
Sunday, April 7
General sessions at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
*Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)

How Do I Attend a Session in Salt Lake City?
If you live in the United States or Canada, ask your local stake leaders about obtaining tickets to attend a session at the Conference Center. Most stakes have tickets for distribution. If you live outside of the United States or Canada, ask your stake or district president to submit a request for tickets on your behalf. Due to construction on and around Temple Square, seating is limited to 18,000 people per session. A line at the Tabernacle can be used to access standby seating. Also, your conference ticket doubles as a UTA pass as you travel to and from conference.
