The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has called more than 50 couples to serve as temple presidents and matrons.
Most couples will begin their service in September of 2023; some will begin when the temple is dedicated (*); others have already begun their service (**).
The couples’ names and temple assignments are listed below alphabetically. Click on the names to read the couples’ brief biographies published in the Church News.
The Church has 315 temples — dedicated, under construction or announced. Temple presidents and matrons typically serve three years. The newly called leaders listed below comprise those called to serve beginning in 2023 or when the temples are dedicated.
