BYU Exhibits Artwork About Jesus Christ

Brigham Young University’s Museum of Art is currently exhibiting a collection of artwork about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Beholding Salvation: Images of Christ exhibit contains more than 170 prints, icons, illuminated manuscripts and sculptures from all over the world. These pieces represent a variety of time periods as well as a variety of religions.

BYU’s College of Fine Arts and Communications has produced three free moving-image and music videos. The images are all taken from the exhibit, with the music performed by students from BYU’s School of Music. (View videos.)

The exhibit will be on display through 16 June 2007.

Brigham Young University is a four-year university owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
