Community Groups and Churches Join to Rebuild Prison Chapel

Members of a Huntsville Mormon congregation are joining with other churches and groups in the area to restore a chapel at the Wynne Unit, a local prison.

According to the Huntsville Item newspaper, the chapel was “originally constructed as an inmate project in 1972, but has since fallen into disrepair. The roof has been significantly damaged over the years, and is now full of holes.”
