The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints launched the Bulgaria Mormon Newsroom Wednesday, bringing the number of international Mormon Newsroom websites to 58 in 20 languages.
These international sites contain area-specific content for news media, opinion leaders and the public in their respective regions. The Church’s primary worldwide Newsroom (MormonNewsroom.org) remains the official resource for news media around the globe.
The first international Mormon Newsroom was launched in August 2011. In addition to English, international Mormon Newsroom sites are available in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Armenian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a global faith with over 14.8 million members — more than half of which reside outside the United States.
