Mormon Tabernacle Choir Sings on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

SALT LAKE CITY — Last night, the popular reality television show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition aired an episode that featured a performance by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

The ABC television show receives thousands of applications from families who need help rebuilding their home. Most of the families selected have experienced a tragedy or faced difficult times that kept the family from making needed repairs to their home.

The Pauni family of Logan, Utah, lost their father two years ago, leaving their mother to carry the responsibility of providing for nine children. The Paunis were selected by ABC for a home makeover.

The choir was asked to participate since the Paunis are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The choir performed the family’s favorite song, “Love At Home,” which is also a popular Church song.
