New Zealand: Mormons Spend Thousands of Hours in Service During Sixth Annual Mormon Helping Hands Day in New Zealand
Mormons in New Zealand donated about 20,000 hours of their time to work in their communities on Saturday, 23 February, as part of New Zealand’s sixth annual Mormon Helping Hands Day. Volunteers painted churches and schools, weeded and mulched reserves, and performed other community beautification projects.

Chile: Local Latter-day Saints Help Clean Up Debris After Devastating Fire
Hundreds of local Latter-day Saints recently helped remove debris caused by a fire in Valparaiso, Chile, that destroyed nearly 300 homes and left 1,500 people homeless. An average of 400 Mormon youth and adults spent each of the five days after the fire removing debris.

Tonga: Church Women Leaders Teach the Importance of Education
As part of their visit to various portions of the South Pacific, Linda K. Burton, general president of the Church’s Relief Society, and Rosemary M. Wixom, general president of the Church’s Primary organization, taught the importance of the education of women and children during their stop in the Kingdom of Tonga.
