    VIDEO: New Mormon Message Focuses on the Ten Commandments

    Apostle says God’s commandments are a roadmap for happiness

    Like other faiths, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches the importance of following the Ten Commandments from the Old Testament.

    The Mormon Channel, which produces video and audio materials primarily for Latter-day Saints, today released a new video titled “Obedience to the Ten Commandments.”  This production is based on an April 2013 general conference talk from Elder L. Tom Perry of the Church’s Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

    In the video, Elder Perry says “four of the Ten Commandments are taken as seriously today as ever,” while many people neglect the other six.
