Over 10,000 Church members and other community volunteers are expected to participate in Mormon Helping Hands service projects across southern Idaho. Local Church leaders, partnering with county, city, school district and other community leaders, have planned to beautify city streets, parks, schools and other areas in local Idaho communities on Saturday, 11 September 2010.
In a wide variety of service projects, Church members will clean up, paint, pull weeds, and repair and beautify public areas in their local communities in over 20 Idaho counties. In most cases, projects were suggested by county, city, school district or other community leaders to help improve their community. Church members, including youth and adults, will provide the manpower to meet these community needs.
