The public is invited to tour the Quito Ecuador Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Friday, October 14, 2022, through Saturday, October 29, 2022, excluding Sundays.
The temple dedication is scheduled for Sunday, November 20, 2022. Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will preside at the dedication.
President Thomas S. Monson announced the Quito Ecuador Temple at the April 2016 general conference. Ground was broken for the Quito Ecuador Temple in May 2019.
The Quito Ecuador Temple will be the second temple in the country, after the Guayaquil Ecuador Temple, which was dedicated in August 1999. Ecuador is home to more than 250,000 members of the Church who compose over 300 congregations.
