Kenya: Mormons Learn to Strengthen Families
Senior missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints began teaching a weekly class to four different Kenyan Mormon congregations about how to strengthen families and build lasting memories.

Throughout the course of the class, parents used the Church’s family home evening program as a guide to draw their families together and to teach their children. Latter-day Saints were told that if they would hold regular family home evenings, they would see more happiness, more faith in the hearts of their youth, more strength to combat and overcome negative influences, and more obedience from their children.

Pacific: Mormon Women Celebrate Anniversary of Relief Society
Latter-day Saint women in more than 170 countries are meeting together in March to celebrate the anniversary of the Church’s Relief Society organization, one of the oldest and largest women’s service organizations in the world.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ FamilySearch program attracted a lot of interest recently in London.

During a genealogical exhibition in London’s famous Olympia Exhibition Hall, Latter-day Saints showed visitors how FamilySearch.org works. At times, due to its popularity, the FamilySearch exhibit generated a three-hour wait for assistance.

New Zealand: Genealogists Are Happy About Joint Venture
FamilySearch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is working with Archives New Zealand to digitize and index more than a million images of probate records from Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch.
The past is coming alive for genealogical researchers and historians, according to Archives New Zealand chief genealogist, Greg Goulding. It’s a “goldmine of information.”
